The Big Green Fair, organised by Energise Sussex Coast and Transition Town Hastings, is set to be a fantastic end to this year’s Sustainability On Sea festival. The event takes the SOS festival theme ‘What We Can Do’ and showcases range of sustainable organisations, projects and actions that we can all take part in to live more sustainably. Sustainability On Sea has been achieved through the hard work and time of a committed team of volunteers. We need an additional 30 volunteers to make Car Free Day (22nd September) and the Big Green Fair (29th September) a BIG SUCCESS! Can you help? Volunteers will help set up and pack down the event, we need lots of stewards who will look after the different areas in the events. Thank you to the lovely people at Lush who have given £2,787 to support the activities of the Sustainability On Sea festival. The money will be used by the organisers to support the SOS events, the Big Green Fair, the beach sculpture and marketing costs.
