A community juice-pressing day in Fairlight.

Bring your apples along to Fairlight village hall to have them pressed into the loveliest freshly pressed apple juice! Hosted by local organic market-garden Stonelynk Organics and Hastings-based Eve Apple Press.

Apple Day is an annual celebration of all things apple-y, with local produce and teas and coffees on sale too, and crafts games and activities for all.

Do you have an apple tree in the garden and always struggle to make use of all the fruit? Well here’s your answer! Bring along your harvest to apple day and turn them into juice. All apples are welcome, and are mixed together to create a lovely blend of all our local apples.

For a small fee you can have your juice pasteurised so that it will last through the next 12 months. Don’t worry if you don’t have any apples – you can still come along and buy juice fresh from the press; there’ll be plenty to share around!
