Global warming, the Arctic and Antarctic ice melting, glaciers melting, rising sea levels, ocean acidification, coral bleaching, climate refugees and mass migrations, eroding soils and land desertification, food security, poorer communities and water shortages, extreme weather, flooding and droughts and marine pollution. Using specially selected timber we will look at the fascinating inner world of trees. How is wood made? How long can a tree grow? How does a tree adapt to its environment?  The Woodland Trust Tree Charter petition will be available to sign - the charter for trees, woods and people. Green Fingers Community Garden Project

Y Centre St Pauls Road, St Leonards on Sea

Free community garden project on the grounds of the Y Centre. The community garden sessions take place on a Sunday each week 1pm–3pm and Wednesday 11am–3pm. The project is run by The Art Shack, a creative and well-being space. It brings people together to make and create a space from nothing out of nothing. Grow veg and flowers in a calm friendly environment. Just pop along no booking required!
