The site which, for most of the last century, was the Broomgrove Power Station in Ore, has lain almost undisturbed for nearly 20 years. As a result it is now a fascinating brownfield site with a good, healthy and varied amount of biodiversity. This includes around 200 species of flora, badgers, foxes, slow worms, lizards and many dragonflies, butterflies and beetles.
