Using specially selected timber we will look at the fascinating inner world of trees. How is wood made? How long can a tree grow? How does a tree adapt to its environment?  The Woodland Trust Tree Charter petition will be available to sign - the charter for trees, woods and people. Female Pirate Printer Demonstration

Goat Ledge Promenade Lower Promenade, Warrior Square, St Leonards, East Sussex

This demonstration at is a homage to an experimental printmaking project in Berlin that uses urban structures like manhole covers, grids, technical objects and other surfaces of the urban landscape, to create unique graphical patterns on streetwear basics, fabrics and paper. Every piece is hand printed, on-site in the public space, as a footprint of the city. A tribute to the Group called Raubdruckerin which interestingly means ‘female pirate printer’ in German.
