Part of the annual Great British Beach Clean Look for the MCS flags and branded tablecloth. Everyone is welcome and under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult. Great British Beach Clean at Pett Level

More than just a beach clean – a very sociable event opening eyes to the stories behind the rubbish on our beaches. This beach was first surveyed in 2005, and to help discover the source of much of the rubbish on the beach we “pick up, identify, record, bag, bin or recycle”. The information goes to a national database where the MCS can lobby Government to help reduce marine pollution (plastic bag tax, wet wipe labelling etc).
