This forms part of the Women’s Voice Greenham Remembered exhibition at OPEN.
Photographs and memories of local women’s opposition to war and the nuclear industry and their non violent work for peace in the 1980’s.
Women’s Voice Hastings is collecting a series of personal photographs from the women who made a stand and protested against war and for nuclear disarmament. These images show a generation of women activists, how these battles were fought and echo today’s struggles with the looming reality of climate change and world conflict.
Come along to the Open Evening, Greenham Remembered on 20/09/19, 6pm – 9pm.
The photo exhibition runs every Thursday, Friday and Saturday, 10:30 – 4pm, from 21/09/19 til 05/10/10
