This free Green Fingers community garden project is on the grounds of the Y Centre and is run by The Art Shack, a creative and well-being space. The community garden runs on a Sunday each week 1pm–3pm and Wednesday 11am–3pm. It brings people together to make and create a space from nothing out of nothing. Grow veg and flowers in a calm friendly environment. Just pop along no booking required!
Photography exhibition of the Hastings Fishing Community. This exhibition by John Cole is a photographic portrayal from the 1990s to the present of the men and women of Britain’s oldest beach-launched fishing community here in Hastings. This exhibition runs beyond the festival dates from 15 June to 27 October 2019.
Bringing the festival to a close is the Big Green Fair; a day-long event that will take over the Shipwreck Museum, Stade Hall and in a marquee on the Stade Open Space. Inspiration, marketplace, workshops, speakers and activities for all ages. All areas are undercover! On the day you will be able to browse the stalls of the sustainable marketplace.
