Forest Gardening Talk at Heritage Open Day “Bohemia Walled Garden Celebrates 10 Years of People Power!”

See the new forest garden area, find out how it was designed and what this sustainable practice has to offer for the future.
Permaculture Designer and Teacher Anna Locke has designed a new forest garden area at Bohemia Walled Garden. She will talk about the principles and practicalities of forest gardening, how the site was created with the Bohemia Walled Garden volunteers and will be developed in future as a showcase for this sustainable way of gardening.
The talk is part of the free Heritage Open Day event celebrating the 10th anniversary of this volunteer-led garden.
The event runs from 11am to 3pm, and the talk is currently planned for 1pm.
Please keep an eye on the Bohemia Walled Garden website or Facebook page for updates on the day’s program. There will also be art activities, music, a peoples’ exhibition about the garden and produce and refreshments for sale.
